Babymoon Getaway!

Day 1 of KL Babymoon trip!

It's been so many years since hubby and I stepped foot in KL. First time going together, ever since marriage. First time going to KL via plane. Totally felt like tourists as we took the bus and monorail from the airport. Alighted from the monorail and we had to lug our luggages around to find our way to the hotel. Heh..yes, in the haze mind you.

Misunderstandings is a result of miscommunication and expectation. As a female, I have certain expectations of what a man should do and what he should not. But I guess, we should all work on what our strengths are in and that is how you complement each other in a relationship. That's what makes your relationship different from others, as no two relationship are ever the same.

Accomodation is at The Royale Bintang Kuala Lumpur. Lobby looked promising, but sad to say that hotel was a lil bit disappointing. Maybe it just so happened that it's a corner room, so the room looked kinda tiny. But I guess if we're going to be out most of the time, didnt quite matter does it? Toilet was pretty simple too, no fancy bathtub whatsoever. I guess because the hotel we stayed in at Batam was awesome!

Will load up the pics once hubby has processed them.

Explored the shopping  malls nearby, since Bukit Bintang is known for that. Managed to squeeze in a movie, Man Of Steel. Caught it at Golden Screen Cinemas at Pavilion. THERE WERE SO MANY AWESOME EATERIES AT PAVILION!!! PepperLunch, Carl's Junior...awesome possum..

We're going to try checking out the Central Market and Jln Masjid India tmr. Hopefully the haze will go away by then. Heard that there was a hailstorm in SG!!

14W

Late update on Lil Khimmy! :(

Went to visit the gynae and Lil Khimmy has grown to 6.8cm! Not too big, not too small. A comforting piece of news considering that I lost weight. Lil Khimmy, Mummy will eat more so that you can grow into a healthy baby!

Hubby was definitely excited and prepared this time round. Whipped out his iPhone as soon as gynae was going to do the scan, all ready to record the whole scanning process and Lil Khimmy's heartbeat. We are so happy that we got to see you again!! :D

For a first time Mum, i have to say that I'm very sensitive to Lil Khimmy's movements. At 13W, I was already able to feel the lil one moving inside. Lil Khimmy is sure one active baby!

Hubby and I have thought a name for Lil Khimmy. If it's a boy, it'll be Zuhaily Zuhnun. If it's a girl, it'll be Nur Laiqah Nayli, just like hubby's dream camera, Leica. :P

Anyhow, we just came back from a weekend getaway at Batam. Haze situation is rather ok over there. Seemed like the haze situation got better in SG too while we were away. I want to believe that it's the barakah from the Solat Hajat that was done during the Friday prayers. Alhamdulillah.

The down side is that we're heading to KL tomorrow, and apparently, the wind had blown the haze over to that side of Malaysia. Boo! Thank goodness, I have a one week supply of N95 protect myself and Lil Khimmy.

You will be surprised at the panic situation that the haze has caused in SG. People are queueing up just to get their hands on N95 supply. The saddening part however is that people tend to overbuy, depriving others who need it as well, or even need it more. In addition, the least they could do to do justice to the masks is to know how to don it properly. Geez~

See you soon, Lil Khimmy! :D

I'm way excited today! Can't seem to focus much at work because we'll be seeing Lil Khimmy in the afternoon later. Hopefully~~

Hubby and I are looking forward to seeing Lil Khimmy later. The last time we say Lil Khimmy was when Lil Khimmy was 2cm long. Hopefully, Lil Khimmy is as eager as us to come and meet us later.

Last night hubby put his ear against my tummy and he was very sure he heard something and he attempted to talk to Lil Khimmy. That scenario, that feeling, was very surreal. I kept smiling to myself. Here I am carrying a child for my hubby, whom I'm very sure will be a wonderful dad to this child of ours. *sob*

Will update once we have seen our gynae!! :D

Monday Blues

Good Morning World~~!

I'm having the most terrible Monday blues ever! Reached home at 1am last night and only went to sleep close to 2am. *yawns*

It was such a bad, terrible jam at the causeway last night. Was stuck in traffic for more than 2 hours before we finally get past SG Immigrations. BIL tried ways and means to find alternative route for a less jammed traffic, but to no avail. Was driving the whole day yesterday. I could feel Lil Khimmy moving around later at night, the vibrations in my tummy, and I'm very sure that it wasn't me, neither is it muscle spasms.

More people are in the loop about Lil Khimmy. No valid reason to hide it anyway, as it's just a matter of time. And hubby and I are happy to share our joy with everybody.

It was a surreal feeling when hubby was leaving for reservist this morning. He kissed me goodbye before i head back to sleep, and reminded him that he forgot to kiss Lil Khimmy too. I'm excited for this parenthood journey. In shaa Allah it'll be a good and enriching one.

The Lil One

As some of you might have known, hubby and I are entering a new phase in life as a married couple. We are excited much. There are so many things that we are looking forward to, and so many things to do. Hopefully, with the new bundle of joy that is on the way, it will bring more joy to the family and the people around us.

It's a strange feeling though, knowing that there is something / somebody / a living thing in you, who is growing day by day. It is a very surreal feeling. A feeling that I will never know how to desrcibe. And it's nice to have a really supportive husband to be with you every step of the way and being by your side all these while.

I'm thankful that it has been a pleasant 13 weeks of my life. Lil Khimmy has been a pleasant one. No gripes, no fussines. Happy go lucky, and anything goes. :) Please stay that way Lil Khimmy. Make it pleasant for both you and me. I'll try to provide you with whatever nutrients that you need. You know Mummy and Daddy love you.

There are so many things coming up in our lives.
The bundle of joy.
Hubby going for studies next year.
I might be going for studies this year.
Reviving the business that once was thriving.

And yet, I realise that things happen for a reason. And He knows best.

Insecurity, I'm to be blamed for

Oh the insecurity that I'm feeling.

It's true they said, some things are better left unknown.

Then again, wouldn't that mean that things are being done behind your back?

How will you feel if your husband is in contact with his ex, who is also married, and yet they talk abt personal things really personal things. And how to a certain extent a part of the past is still there and is very much strongly embedded in the conversation / relationship?

And you din even noe.

Should I be feeling upset about it?
The truth is, I very much am.

And I cant stop crying now. Coz it hurts so much.

It's all about $$$

It's been almost 9 months since I have started the online business venture.

He was sharing the conversation that he had with his friend, and he commented, "it's true. Can't do business with your other half. Maybe can just help."

I was personally thrown off by the statement.

It's not a matter not able to do business with you other half. But I feel, it's more having the level of understanding needed, to be more patient and to complement each other.

The guy might be the one to be able to do all the thinking and coming up with the new ideas while the girl can just be there administering it. On the other hand, it can also be vice versa.

True that perhaps, doing a business together means that being involve in active discussion and not being passive. But when two of a same kind gets together, who then does the work? Who then administers things?

I'm not trying to be sexist here, but why is it that in general, girls can be tolerant while guys on the other hand, feels that if things are not going the way they WANT, it's doomsday.

I'm trying very hard not to take things personally. I really am. But sometimes, I just feel that I'm not understood. Maybe because I don't say it, but sometimes i just wish that i'm understood without me having to say it.

People should realise how condescending one remarks can be to others. It's like once bitten, twice shy.

All about Capricorns

I miss blogging.

It's like an outlet to vent, and outlet to express myself.

Saw a description re: Capricorns today.
"Capricorn's get real quiet when pissed, we let it build up then explode when we've had enough. And it's an ugly sight"

When I think about it, it's really true. When I'm pissed, I'll just be silent. It's like my response mechanism. Coz when I open my mouth, all that comes out is anger and frustration. Which, ultimately, won't be helpful will it?

Gotta work on it, gotta work on it.

I want to get married please......... :D

Life is a roller coaster

It has definitely been a while, to the extent that I kinda forgot that I had a blog.

Life has been crazy, a series of mad events. Emotional rollercoaster, that sometimes I wonder to myself, what on earth did I get myself into.

My mind is in such a mess, so are my emotions.

Life is so uncertain, you'll never know what will happen to you the next moment. You hope and you plan, but that's all you can do.

You hope and wish so much that it drives you crazy sometimes.

Time is never on my side, neither is it on yours. It makes me wonder, am I the only worrying about it?

My real solace are my tears. My tears that will comfort me.

thinker & doer

It has been one helluva 4mths. So much of ups and downs. The frequency of the tension is crazy.

I want things to be like before. But i guess sometimes it's unavoidable.

I love you. And i treasure this relationship of ours.

I'll work hard.

Family affairs

It's been a while since I last made an entry. Too busy catching up with life.

Sayang and i have started on a new venture. Hopefully it works out well. :) God willing.

My parents do care for me. My dad pitied me that I have to sleep on the floor coz a bed has yet to be purchased. How sweet. Conventional, traditional parents. They don't proclaim their love an concern to you, but indirectly, they do.

On a random note, I think I'm getting old. I get tired out easily. Heh~

Movies of the week

Early Saturday morning movie with Juicey and Goldfish. It has been a while since i watched a movie with them, what more hanging out with them. Heh~ I'm sure Juicey must have been very happy. Want to know how early is the show? 1040hrs, on a Saturday morning. Haha! Just in time before I meet Love and Goldfish flies back to Penang.

And so, Hereafter. It was a relatively interesting movie. But at the same time, you must make sure that you have woken up by the time you are watching this movie. Three stories in one, and of course, eventually, all the stories will come together, and that's when all makes sense. I don't quite fancy the ending though.

CNY eve, shops all closed. So what do you do? Catch a movie, the only possible place that will still be opened. Watched Shaolin. A lil disappointing. Storyline was not fantastic at all, very predictable, very expected. The bad guy regrets, feels remorse, repents, and try to to make the other bad guy repent too. Sheesh~

Now, have I told you that I plucked two more of my wisdom teeth? Yes, I must be crazy to go through it all over again. This time round, it was worse. The drilling, the pushing, the pulling. It was crazier this round. Bottom tooth was bigger, harder. More drilling, more pressure. Fragments of the teeth were flying all over the place. I felt them on my cheeks, in my mouth. Name it, it was simply everywhere. My cheek swelled up, when it did not previously. And now, 4 days after the extraction, my jaw feels cramp. Sheesh~ Nevertheless, long break from work of course.

And oh, went to watch The Tourist. Ooh~ Johnny Depp indeed. Much loved. It was relatively an interesting movie, however, it wasn't as fantastic as I thought it will be, based on what I have been hearing from others. I did not expect Johnny Depp to be the 'person' throughout the movie. I couldn't figure it out at all. I guess I should have paid closer attention to little details that give the storyline away.

Bollywood Veggies is amazing! Take some time to take a trip there if you guys are interested. :)

When your boyfriend's a tech geek, and you're not, over time, you'll eventually be converted into one.

Somehow, talks about camera and camcorders came into the picture yesterday as we were walking around City Square. All I did was sharing with Love on how I've always wanted a Polaroid camera. And ta-da, he started his search for a Polaroid camera and started bidding on e-bay. Eventually told him that there was a particular model of Polaroid that I have always liked, and ta-da, another search began. Haha! Efficient much? :p

And as we were walking around Best looking for a USB Hub, we ended up looking at camcorders instead. Even the trip to Mustaffa Centre ended up searching for a camcorder, although we stumbled upon this really cool-looking speaker (I'm contemplating if I should buy it for my new room when I move house).

I was searching for the Polaroid that I like, and I stumbled upon the usage of a camera that produced really sharp, pretty photos. Googled it and found the picture of how the cammie cam looks like. And wah, it looks nice. Haha! I don't quite understand the specs, maybe I should leave that to the tech geek. :o

And wow, the things I end up wanting.
- Camcorder
- LUMIX camera
- laptop cooler
- Speaker-cum-docking station

If only money could fall down from the sky.

Movie of the week

Last minute plan: to catch Centurion @ AMK Hub. I didn't know what to expect, I didn't hear about it before. But nevertheless, when it's a recommendation from the Love, more often than not, it's a relatively good movie. And I was right.

First of all, it was an M-18 movie. It has been a while since I was stopped by the cinema staff but ya, he asked for my identification. Zzzz~ I handed over my driving license and he was stunned after that. Ho ho ho~

Anyway, the movie was good, just as I expected when I saw the trailer while in the queue to purchase the movie tickets. The massacre scene was awesome. It was a whole load of gore. Chopping off heads, slashing bodies, poking eyeballs etc.

Storyline was, there were definitely some underlying morals in the show, especially with regards to loyalty, leadership and friendship. However, there were definitely some 'expected' scenes where the soldier sought shelter in a lady's house and there were some chemistry, in which, the soldier went back for the lady. Well, you know, that sort of things.

All in all, 3 stars!

Well, normally i'd do some flashback of 2010, when it's the start of the new year. But I guess doing that again will be rather boring. Then again, it's been so long since I blogged that I just don't know what to blog about. And here I am ranting about what I should be blogging about.

It's going to be a tough year ahead. So many challenges that I see in various aspects. Getting overwhelming. And I just dunno why.

A whole new world

A few things have been happening. And even though i'm able to blog on the go, somehow, i just cant seem to find the time to do so. i suck. haha!

And at this point in time, as i'm typing this entry, i feel like pooping but i can't leave the office yet as my colleague is not back. *goosebumps*

Anyway, dearest Akhim has started work. Same workplace as me but different departments. It feels good to be able to meet him for lunch almost every day. It feels like i'm the loyal and filial wife preparing the meal for the husband. heee~

And oh, i got news from my sister that my mum is all ready to marry me off next year. she said that she's planning to marry me off after we move house. Ok Mum, you are ready to marry me off so does that mean, u'll sponsor me? hu hu hu~~~~~

Dark chocolate peppermint or orange?

Chill session with the Love tonight at Coffer Bean @ HollandV. Contemplation over a new battery pack, discussions over fish tanks and last but not least, marriage.

It definitely made me realize that guys are not as dumb or ignorant as we girls think. They are just damn good at feigning ignorance. Haha! All these while when you think that they didn't realize when you threw tantrums or showed 'attitude', they actually do. It's just that they don't say it, but they are very aware of it.

So many things to consider, so many things to do. Walking on unchartered grounds. Wondering what the outcome will be like. The fears, the anxieties, the uncertainties. I was told that sometimes I tend to focus on the negative too much. Maybe I do.

But that's the beauty of it isn't it? When two individuals of different personalities come together, they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. The best part is they complement each other, putting together a very beautiful, ideal picture after that.

A story of a boy and girl

This is a story of a boy and a girl..

What seems like two individuals from worlds apart..Nevertheless, they managed to overcome the trials and tribulations together.

The boy has a very strong interest in dance. However, the girl feels like she's a hindrance to his interest, his lifestyle. And prolly, he deserves someone better who can enjoy it with him.

It is such a dilemma that the girl is in. As much as she wants the boy to do something that he's passionate about, giving him the support, but somehow it just doesn't seem to match.

The girl just wishes that there's something that she can do. Well maybe, she's not the right one.

Numb lips and tongue

Gone are two of my wisdom teeth..it was such a quick procedure. But it was a lil scary to be hearing the sound of the drill yet I can't see a single thing. The dentist definitely injected a lot of anesthetic into me, considering that lips are still feeling numb even up till now. But the nurses were so nice. :) It feels good to be receiving such good service an treatment from them.

And they did not tell me that my bottom tooth was above the nerve too. And there was the possibility of nerve injury. Thanks eh.

4 types of meds given, am supposed to finish all of it. Eeek~

Headed to Tong Seng for dinner as Sayang was hungry. Ordered fish porridge thinking that it was really porridge, but I was fooled. It was rice in soup. I couldn't eat at all with the gauze in my mouth. It was such a horrible feeling. I lost my appetite after that.

I still have two more on the right. haish~ do I really need to go through it all over again?!?!
